Terms for professional services

1. Purpose
These terms govern the use by property professionals (“the Agency”) of the services of Lakindex, a website published by Vilmos Németh and Márton Bónis (“Lakindex”): directory profile, agency space, publication of completed sales and transmission of owners' requests. Registering means accepting these terms.
2. Registration and verification
The Agency provides accurate, up-to-date information: trading name, address, contact details, company, tax number and registration. The person registering confirms they are authorised to do so. Lakindex checks this information before publication and may refuse a registration, ask for evidence or suspend a profile, in particular if the activity is not lawfully carried out in Hungary (registration on the register of estate agents where the law requires it).
3. Plans
Showcase: free, with no time limit. Directory profile with logo, address and contact details.
Premium: HUF 350,000 excluding VAT per month. During the limited-time launch offer, Premium is free for 12 months from registration. At the end of this period the Agency chooses to continue with Premium or go back to the Showcase; nothing is charged without its prior written agreement. The content of each plan is described on the “Professionals” page; Lakindex may change it with at least 30 days' notice to the Agency.
4. Neutrality
The ranking of agencies (proximity, completed sales, alphabetical order) never depends on the plan chosen. Prices and estimates published by Lakindex depend on no agency. The “Premium partner” label only indicates the plan chosen.
5. Declared sales
The Agency only declares sales it actually completed, with accurate information (address, features, month of the deed, price). It confirms it has the seller's consent to publish the address, features, price and photos, and holds the rights to the photos supplied. No data identifying the buyer or the seller (names, contact details, documents) may be sent, including in descriptions and photos. Every sale is checked by Lakindex before publication; Lakindex may ask for evidence, refuse or remove a sale. The price is only visible to signed-in users. The Agency grants Lakindex a free, non-exclusive licence to use these data and photos on the site and in its statistics, including aggregated, for the duration of the registration and for statistics already published.
6. Owners' requests
Lakindex passes on requests from people who expressly agreed to be contacted by a professional. The Agency undertakes to contact them promptly (within 24 working hours), only about the request concerned, not to pass these data on to third parties and to delete them when no longer needed. For these data, the Agency acts as a separate controller and complies with the GDPR. Lakindex guarantees neither the number of requests nor the signing of a mandate.
7. Profile and content
The Agency is responsible for the content of its profile (texts, logo, fees, opening hours) and refrains from any misleading or unlawful content or content infringing third-party rights. Lakindex may change the layout of the profile or remove non-compliant content.
8. Account
Sign-in is by a link sent to the account email. The Agency protects access to this address and tells Lakindex of any change of the person in charge.
9. Liability
Lakindex provides its services with care but without any guarantee of results; estimates are statistical indications. Lakindex is not a party to mandates or sales between the Agency and its clients. Except for gross negligence, Lakindex's liability is limited to the amounts paid by the Agency over the last 12 months.
10. Term and termination
Registration is for an indefinite period. The Agency may ask at any time for its profile and account to be deleted. Lakindex may suspend or terminate access in case of breach of these terms, after a warning except in urgent cases.
11. Personal data
Data of the people managing the account are processed to manage the registration, as described in the legal notice.
12. Changes, governing law
Lakindex may change these terms with at least 30 days' notice. These terms are governed by Hungarian law; the competent courts of Budapest have sole jurisdiction, after an attempt at amicable settlement. The Hungarian version prevails in case of discrepancy.
